New Update in Google Bard: Chat Feature Now Available in 40 Languages Including Hindi

Google has introduced new features in its Artificial Intelligence (AI) toolbar, Google Bard. The company announced the latest updates to Bard on Thursday, including additional features that enable users to converse in 40 different languages.

The added languages include Hindi, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, French, among others. This means that users who understand these languages can communicate with Bard in their preferred language.

Additionally, Google mentioned that Bard is now available in nearly all countries worldwide. Previously, Bard was not accessible in some European countries, including Brazil.

In the company's blog post, it was stated, "We have included special features to enhance users' creativity."

With the new update, users can now ask questions and Bard will respond verbally. This way, the answer to the question is also conveyed through voice in addition to being displayed in the blog post. However, if users prefer to have a chat-like conversation, they can utilize Bard's new feature. For this, a speaker icon is displayed at the top of the response sent by Bard.

Clicking on that icon allows users to directly listen to Bard's response. The speed, pitch, and volume of Bard's voice can be adjusted according to the user's preferences. The company mentioned that Bard's response can be heard in all the 40 languages supported by the company.

With the new update, users can now upload documents on Bard as well. By uploading any document, users can request Bard to explain the meaning of the text or answer questions related to it. The company explained in the blog post that if users upload a photo and inquire about its contents, Bard can provide the desired answer they are looking for.

However, currently, Bard removes images from people without any response. Similarly, users can now easily export Python code created with Bard.

In addition, with the new update, a part of the chat conversation with Bard can be sent to other users, providing added convenience. The company has also introduced the feature to pin chats and change names in the new update.
