After the success of Om Raut's 'Adipurush,' all eyes are now on Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana.' The release of 'Adipurush' created quite a stir, and after the controversy surrounding the film, it was revealed that once again, we will get to witness 'Ramayana' on the big screen, but this time directed by Nitesh Tiwari, not Om Raut. It is rumored that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play the lead roles in the film.

Recently, Mukesh Khanna, famous for portraying Bhishma Pitamah in the 'Mahabharat' serial, expressed his views on Ranbir and his image while discussing his role as Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's direction. Following the failure of 'Adipurush,' the actor spoke about upcoming mythological films and suggested that the makers should pay more attention to the casting of actors.

In an interview with Times Now News, Mukesh Khanna criticized Ranbir Kapoor and said, "Mahabharat deserves awards for the best casting of actors. Each actor was carefully chosen. I don't think they will make the same mistake again. But they want to make 100 or 300 crores. He mentioned Prabhas as well, stating that putting a mustache on Prabhas doesn't make him look like Lord Rama."

Mukesh Khanna, also known as Shaktimaan, further commented on Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Rama and compared it to Arun Govil's portrayal in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana. He believed that when you cast someone as Lord Rama, there will inevitably be a comparison with Arun Govil. Ranbir Kapoor may be a good actor, but will he really fit the image of Lord Rama? Prabhas is not bad, but casting should be done carefully.

He went on to talk about the failure of 'Adipurush' and expressed his anger at the low-grade VFX used in the film. He questioned the need to write Hanuman ji's dialogues in a particular manner and believed that he deserved punishment for it.
